Professor Jack Baker is the recipient of the 2013 Eugene L. Grant Award in recognition of dedication and excellence in teaching as voted by the students of the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Stanford University.
He was also awarded the IASSAR Early Achievement Research Award, which is given to junior researchers at the early stages of their career, and was announced at the 11th International Conference on Structural Safety & Reliability on June 19, 2013.
